Last Temptation of Becky premiere at Fantasia

The Last Temptation of Becky, the third instalment in the cult action franchise, had its world premiere at the Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal on 25 July 2026, marking a homecoming for director Jenn Wexler, whose earlier features The Ranger and The Sacrifice Game both screened at the festival.

Lulu Wilson returns as the franchise’s teenage antihero, now working as a CIA field agent sent undercover to Poland, alongside Neil Patrick Harris, Kate Siegel, Brandon Flynn, James Urbaniak and Catherine Walker. The film leans further into the series’ signature mix of gory set pieces and dark comedy, and is set for wider release through Quiver Distribution.

Early reviews out of the festival have been enthusiastic, including a glowing writeup from Eye for Film praising the chemistry between Wilson and Wexler.

It is a strong showing for a franchise that began as a modest 2020 drive-in release and has since grown into one of the genre’s more reliable crowd-pleasers.
